Metal Gear Solid [disc1of2][SLUS-00594]

Ok folks, After reading the current review for this game I found it very lacking and thus decided to write one more fitting for such a classic game.

First and foremost, one thing the previous review said that was spot on is that this game is very much in the running for best PSone game ever released, for it is the forefather to all of our best espionage games ( i.e. splinter cell, etc ) it brought never before seen elements into the gameplay that gave it true feeling into the secret spy storyline. You play as the infamous Solid Snake, savior of the Outer Heaven and Zanzibar missions (these games are for the NES system for all you non japanese players, and I will point out the second metal gear game was not official in any way, Hideo Kojima was not involved in any way with that title ) while the story is complex it is not altogether confusing at least not until later games hehe...

You as Solid Snake have been called for one last mission to alaska, to stop a renegade Government Cell of special freak soldiers called Foxhound from using the infamous Metal Gear combat system in it's newest incarnation to launch nukes at the rest of the world. Along the way twist and turns pop up, from having to knock on walls to draw guards away from their post to snapping the neck of a solider taking a leak in the bathroom, you will sneak your way throughout their base to disable Metal Gear Rex, but before you can you'll have to come to grips with some familiar demons from your past...
